Adored by my friends, the girls and my own mum;

Charles!

(This photo is from Spektakel14, a now defunct place for shows and activism and such. Was also taken at Melting Walkmen's second show. Photo by Bette Kurt.)

This guy is a relatively old friend of mine. First time I met him in person was over a couple of beers at Copenhagen airport almost 3 years ago. We decided to meet up since I wasn't in Copenhagen often and was flying somewhere that night. I'd never been there before, and 3 rather sizable beers on an empty stomach and my questionable sense of direction left me pretty bewildered there. Luckily Charles moved here to study from Italy and knows the airport. So he kind of saved my ass that night.
After that we regularly met up to go to shows and such, always discussing music, eating kebab, getting drunk. My mum was so taken by the guy that she gave him a couple of her old Lou Reed LPs. He is a charming git, to be fair.
So, he left Denmark again to study English at Cambridge University.
 Now, the guy has a couple of blogs, and they are awesome to read. There's a lot of comments on English literature and 80s and contemporary music. I guess you'll hate it if you're the type who just likes top 40.

Cool guy, check his blogs:

(And yes, we decided to give eachother a little write-up. Because we're so good friends.)

Test press cover I did for Teenage Warning

I am lucky enough to have a friend who has contact to some of guys from Teenage Warning. Teenage Warning was a classic skate punk band who played in the early 80s and evolved into the hardcore greats Christ on Parade and Attitude Adjustment. Now, my previously mentioned friend, BK, and I were at an Attitude Adjustment concert this may. Attitude Adjustment's first singer, Kevin, also sang this time around. I don't know if Andy Anderson still has contact to the band.. Anyway, we met all of the band members there and had a great time talking to especially Kevin and Chris Kontos. Fantastic guys.
SO! A complete coincidence, they're releasing the Teenage Warning demos, previously a tape-only demo, and according to my friend, they need some artwork done. And he asks me. And of course I'm game.

To see the release, follow this link:

Long story short, Teenage Warning are cool guys, made killer music, I had the pleasure of doing a cover for them.

He-Man Pixel Art

This is my new blog. Welcome. I plan to upload (my own) drawings, music, links and stuff like that.
This first post is a collection of He-Man characters I did in my still evolving pixel art style. I'd like to think that this style is not my main style, but it's just so darn satisfying to do because of its instant gratification.
Comments and such are welcome. Unless you're a complete douchebag. Requests are welcome too.

These aren't completely final, but I do think they give the right impression.

Also, I MAY just make a computer games featuring these guys.
